PINK BELLY

Romy has a sore tummy...

Don't go through the garbage I tell her.

But I guess we all have our vices.

Other than that, I need to get rid of my car badly...more than $3000 to get it up to a road worthy so I'm bailling on the old girl and rethinking my options.
I have a first-aid course to go to in a couple of weeks, I forget why I'm going I just know I didn't have to pay for it.

I'm also thinking of becoming a guinea pig...yes I am insane, you already know this, but medical guinea pig is more what I am referring to. I have had psoriasis since I was a baby mostly on my legs and arms, thankfully it is now only localised to my hands and is only triggered by direct contact with fruit. Treatments are vast but rarely work and the the only relief I ever got as a child was when my Mum bathed me in cold porridge water...yummy! Yeah not that great, so I am volunteering for a program that should last quite some time and involve regular injections, pregancy tests (yeah, I didn't get that either), urine and blood samples. Fingers crossed I get the placebo, mainly because I don't want night sweats, nausea or any more mental issues.

Easter has come and gone, as have many chocolate-chip-hot-cross-buns!

I love cinnamon and chocolate.

I also love bigcartel and No Idea! records...they have so many effing rad releases, that is pretty much all I spend my paypal balance on and bigcartel because they are effing rad enablers, as in they enable some of my favourite designers to make rad junk for me to wear and add to my collections.

That's pretty much it, oh right I forgot to add, I hate TOTO! I want to spew every time is see their mopheads. But JOURNEY rocks my holed-mismatched socks.

THE POWER OF MOONLIGHT

Saw Tiger Army at the Hi-Fi bar last night!Killer show, many well dressed and inked peoples in the crowd. Very handsome men they are and they really put on a good show.Plus Zombie Ghost Train from Sydney were far better than I anticipated, I figured "they're from Sydney, how fucking great can they get???" but they had a really good act and really warmed up the crowd well I thought.

Walking home from the trainstation and I hear voices!!!
Then I see Becca's front yard and there are my guys, all chillaxing and knocking back a few, really nice night, ending with some make-shift-air-darting.

Working a lot more, because people are bailling and I'm picking up all their shifts.
Looking for work still or rather looking for more appropriate work.
Everyone is in school so I figure I may aswell finally pull in line and orginise/plan or experiment with applying mid-year or just getting shit together for next year...what do you think???
Still arts but I would enjoy some journalism, business or literature or even camera/media work aswell.

Not much else, maybe after Monday there will be...St Patricks Day of course, bbq and beverages at my place!

I just ate Thai fishcakes, they were good, although I don't necessarily believe the word fishcake is at all appealing in any way.

I am having peoples over tomorrow for grilled meats and beverages of both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic variety...a barbecue in other words. Romy is psyched, she saw all the steak and bloody goodness I brought home from the butcher.
Today I also made eggplant dip and browsed through our huge box of baby photos for some weird reason, check out the golden oldies right here.
My family has a morbid fascination with injuries, sure there are first baby step photos, birthdays etc. but we also have a mean collection of cut toes, broken bones and ambulance rides.

I ordered the fabric for my bathing suits this afternoon so will begin re-igniting my Working Girl Inc flame. I had to give the printing a rest seeing as I have no space for the screens, frames and the general mess of it all, oh how I love mess, but the badges are still floating around on my friends bags and chests. I miss tie-dying I think I'll have Anna over or maybe Fabio, is tie-dye a hippie thing or a stoner thing???

I love reading online all the rainy day stories and seeing all the sad winter pictures from the northern hemisphere then going outside to feel the searing sunshine on my face and watching Romy role around on dandelions and do her cute little camo crawl. I'd hate to rub it in to all those who haven't visited but Australia really is another world, like no other indeed.

I'm rambling, I will add however, that I must bath my cat, It's good that I don't speak out loud when I write because she would be packing her shit and out the door before I punched in the final exclamation mark! and there she goes...
